Course Overview
Matthew wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit, primarily to his fellow Jews, proving through Scripture that Jesus’s life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. In studying this Gospel, you can clearly hear Matthew’s message: Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Immanuel, God with us!
This study is divided into 4 parts:
- 8-Session First Course: Lesson 1-8, Jesus Brings a New Kingdom (Matthew 1-7)
- 7-Session Second Course: Lesson 9-15, Jesus's Power and Parables (Matthew 8-14)
- 6-Session Third Course: Lesson 16-21, Jesus's Glory Revealed (Matthew 15-20)
- 9-Session Final Course: Lesson 22-30, Jesus's Final Week on Earth (Matthew 21-28)
